We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with experience in Nest.js and proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining backend services and APIs for our applications.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Nest.js framework.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improvements.
3. Write well-structured and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
4. Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.
5. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
6. Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines.
7. Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
8. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in building and deploying Node.js applications.
2. Strong proficiency in Nest.js framework.
3. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud Firestore, and Pub/Sub.
4. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
5. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
6. Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
7. Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
